- Pros | Jabra Elite 75t Active comes with a host of customization options courtesy of the Jabra Sound+ App. It provides the best all round performance among its competition.
- Cons | The only drawback of the Jabra Elite 75t Active is that it allows only the right earbud to be used for singular use, unlike its competitors at similar price point.
- Bottom Line | With its excellent sound signature, multiple features and a refreshing minimalist design, Jabra Elite 75t Active is currently one of the best options one can opt to buy in the truly wireless earbuds market.

The Airpods design look a bit much for you? Among the competition Jabra Elite Active 75t stands out with a refreshingly minimalist design and yet provides excellent audio and call quality compared to rest of the competition. Among the various options like the new generation Google Pixel Buds and the Airpods Pro, Jabra Elite Active 75t provides more bass and lets you personally customize the sound you hear to your liking, a feature not provided by the former competition.
A minimalist design like the previous generation of Elite 65t but guess what? It just got smaller and now, even comes with a larger battery than before. The build of both Jabra Elite 75t and the Jabra Elite 75t Active is of soft plastic and sits comfortably in your ears but the Jabra Elite 75t Active variant has a rubbery finish to both the earbuds and the case which shoots up the IP rating and also provides a much premium feel.
The Jabra Elite 75t Active gives you multiple options of ear-gels and once you find your fit, the passive noise cancellation is excellent which amplifies the sound experience for the user.
For all the audiophiles out there, one of the major concerns is the bass and Jabra Elite 75t Active packs a powerful punch in that department. That’s not all, the Jabra Sound+ App lets you have complete control over the equalizer and you can enjoy the music however you would like to. Want more bass? Want to focus on the mids? Everything is customizable! And guess what? That is not even the best part. All the customization done to the Jabra Elite 75t Active gets saved on the earbuds itself and doesn’t depend on the device connected to it.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 75t Active has a wide sound-stage and you does justice to all forms of music. Being the Active variant, Jabra Elite 75t Active has the IP57 rating which means, its both sweat and dust resistant, perfect for the gym people.
Another bonus feature of the Jabra Sound+ App is that it now comes with the My Sound feature which basically makes you go through a hearing test and then creates a sound profile which is unique to your hearing and that is really impressive!
Like the previous generation, Jabra Elite 75t Active again comes with a physical button on both earbuds and personally, I feel it’s a wise decision. The problem with touch controls is that it wouldn’t work when your hands are greasy or wet, a problem faced by many headphones and earbuds. While clicking the button you don’t have to worry about pressing the earbud into ear cause that doesn’t happen. Each earbud has different controls which are again customizable in the Jabra Sound+ App. You can also choose your own assistant or you can just go with the built-in Alexa but I feel android users will be better off with the Google Assistant.
With one tap you can activate the Hear-through mode and that is a very convenient feature to have. Again, you can customize the level of Hear-through in the Jabra Sound+ App. The interesting thing that I have came across is that at full Hear-through mode, you can actually hear more than what you can hear normally. Spy Alert!
With the four-microphone system the call quality of the Jabra Elite 75t Active has definitely improved over the previous generation. The call quality indoors is excellent and one of the best in the game. The call quality outdoors is also good but given the price point it could’ve done better. (Comparing to the likes of Airpods Pro)
The Jabra Elite 75t Active can now connect to two devices at a time and this subtle addition might not seem great to many but it is a feature one must have. You can simultaneously connect to the laptop and your phone together and it just switches between the two seamlessly giving you a pleasant experience. The earbuds also come with an Auto-Pause Music feature which means once you remove either of the earbud, the music or the video will be automatically paused. Similarly they also come with an Auto-Power Off feature where the Jabra Elite 75t Active will turn off after 15 minutes without connection or 60 minutes without any activity.
The Jabra Elite 75t Active supports Bluetooth 5.0 and thus the operating range of the earbuds has increased.
The Jabra Elite 75t Active boasts of providing up to 7.5 hours of playback time on a single charge and combined with the charging case it gives you about 28 hours of playback time which is quite an interesting claim given the tiny size of the case. Within one month’s use of the Jabra Elite 75t Active, I can say the claims were not false and Jabra live up to their word.
Talking about the case, the Active variant has a rubberized coating over it and also features Type-C charging which was not there in the previous generation. For those looking for wireless charging support may have to shell out some extra money and buy the wireless charging variant from the Jabra site.
Nothing is perfect and Jabra Elite 75t Active is no stranger to this. With all the things it provides, it makes us hope for more. The only negative thing about the Jabra Elite 75t Active is that the earbuds can’t be used independently as the bluetooth functions on the Master-slave connection. This means you can only use only the right earbud if you ever want to use one earbud and that is a limitation that some of us won’t like.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 75t Active has nailed all the basics right and is currently one of the best earbuds in the market. You simply can’t go wrong with these. The mini things that Jabra has done with the Jabra Elite 75t Active leaves us with a very pleasant experience. The additional customization with the Jabra Sound+ App gives the users true control over their earbuds and that is something which should be appreciated and followed by all.
Jabra Elite 75t Active might have the same excellent sound signature as the Jabra Elite 75t but with it’s rubberized texture, it provides a better IP rating and a much more premium feel with just a few extra bucks which will be appreciated by all the sports enthusiasts out there!
